1. Good price, great location, nice beach (not crowded, easy to swim and snorkel), easy to get to the canyon, our boat tour in Port Allen, the ATV tour, etc.

2. Also, I would say after exploring the island extensively and Poipu in particular, that this location has one of the best if not the best access to the beach, which is very nice by the way, that we saw.

5. The beach of the hotel is nice but try the beach right next to it (2 min walk along the beach then along the walkway) -the first one is Poipu beach then Poipu beach park (this one has a lifeguard).
