6. The Sheraton provides a good location for a drink and a stroll and there are restaurants across the street within walking distance (make sure you go to Puka Dog and try the gelato place, both are awesome).

8. The beach is awesome because you can snorkel out front and its a quick walk to the nearest surf point at Nukumoi and a little further walk to more snorkeling and body surfing at Poipu Beach - all walking right along the beach.
