1. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open yet, but I did go the 30 steps next door to the New Otani for some good food.

2. --Price seemed reasonable for location, we booked an oceanview room thru hotel website, and were pleased to be on the top floor, lower floors would not afford as good a view I think--good sized balcony--Very comfortable beds (but note that the 2-bed rooms have 2 full, not queen, beds.
