1. I have been to Waikiki many times over many years and generally get disappointed by the bigger hotels for being too big / too impersonal / too busy.

5. Pros: At bit outside of tacky/ugly Waikiki, but nice to walk into Waikiki for dinner; Clean, quiet, nicely and uniquely decorated rooms (not generic like Hyatt, Marriott, etc), Helpful and friendly staff.

6. What made this such a memorableexperience was the personal service provided by the staff and the general manager ,Mr Ward Alameidawho was there to personaly greet us on our arrival and to say Aloha on our departure.
