1. After a long wait for our room, we were taken to an 'upgraded' room that was dirty and generally 'tired'.

3. Let me start by saying that my husband posted a lengthy review of our recent stay (see 'Disappointed with recent stay' on Feb 13, 2012 by ParadiseLost1978), to which the general manager responded to and asked him to contact her directly to handle our complaints.

4. The lines at the breakfast time can be amusing if you're in a good mood and generous with your fellow man (and child), annoying if you're in an ill temper.

7. Service was impecable, and not due to generous tipping, my husband is a bit of a scruge when it comes to tips, but rather due to the wonderful staff, from valets, to amazing cousierge Geraldine, to room maids.

9. The sofa at the foot of the bed had what looked like a cigarette burn on it and generally looked a bit dirty in a Motel 6 kind of way.

10. After leaving a rather wet uk we didn't want the daily thoughts which we have in the UK of I wish it would rain down, and happily it didn't really, only the odd shower and general sunshine with a refreshing breeze daily.
