1. I found the gateway through groupon, and booked my flight before my stay (whoops) and they didnt have a room available for my time in Hawaii, but when I emailed them they were sooo helpful and let me upgrade to a better room for only 9 extra dollars a night.

3. Make the best of it and appreciate that 1) Life is happening outside of your hotel and 2) It's better than so many other hotels in the world (I know, been to some really roach-infested and miasmatic environment hotels, and I survived and wasn't worse-off for it).

4. Hotel can make better business with good elevator, one, two even three more modems can supply wifi for the whole hotel.

5. I stayed here for over a week, and while the rooms are dated, I got better service than I found at the 5 star resort I transferred out of.
