1. I was concerned about the reason the alarm went off and asked for a different room with a working fire alarm.

2. Although its location is reasonable for its price we were a little put off by a few things: the tub wouldn't drain, the room smelled slightly if urine, no comforter on the bed, close rooms with thin walls.

8. When you go to do your research on Honolulu/Waikiki hotels you will see that the Maile Sky court rates are reasonable but bear in mind those rates do not include parking, internet (except in the lobby), phone calls or even in-room coffee after your first night.
