1. All my gf and I wanted was a comfortable and less pricey place to sleep downtown, and we got it, for everyone complaining about the little things, the rooms were smaller but still comfortable, decent tv, bed was nice, windows maybe a little dirty but the view is still fantastic, and everyday the rooms were cleaned with fresh towels.

As others have pointed out, they do appear to make you come to get fresh towels for subsequent stays (I observed people getting them from the front desk), they do have window units in the rooms (which may or may not be a deal breaker for you, I sleep through them just fine), and the elevators are sometimes slow.
