The beach is less than 2 mins walk and is fantastic, the ABC shop next dooran d you can pick up an inflatable bed/ lilo for the beach for about $4 inflated, they also have bodyboards, flippers, googles, beach chairs, beach mats, towels,drinks, snacks, newspapers, magazine, souviners etcAll in all, its a basic clean hotel, which could do with being modernized, but for the price less than $60 a night you cannot go wrong, If you want luxury stay at the Halekulani for $700 a night on the beach with amazing views, beautiful modern rooms and be waited on hand and foot.
