1. Hyatt Place doesn't have the fancy restaurants and shops like the other high-end hotels so if you are looking at being pampered then go stay at the Regency or Westin.

2. I agonized over what hotel in Honolulu to choose--stay in a fancy place and enjoy the luxury, stay in someplace cheap and spen my money doing fun things, or try to find some place that strikes a balance and hope the hotel is nice enough to justify the extra expense.
