1. I qualify that statement with 'business' because if you're familiar with Atlanta you know that there's really no reason to go downtown, except for work.

2. The hotel is undergoing a massive renovation project (it appeared to be largely completed except for some elevator work), and everything seemed nice and new.

3. San Francisco, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago all seem to, for whatever reason, have much better race-relations than does Atlanta, where passive-aggressiveness and a pointed lack of motivation seem to, for some reason, be the rule here rather than the exception.

4. I am a yearly attendee of the Dragon*Con convention that occurs Labor Day weekend every year and I have never stayed at any hotel except for the Hyatt Regency.

5. I had requested a quiet room and was given a corner room that was great except for the shower which desperately needs to be cleaned and redone.
