3. The Newport Beachside Hotel is cheaper than a lot of other hotels around the area for a reason, mostly, they haven't dumped any money into updating the actual rooms since Don Johnson was the hotest thing on TV.

5. the bus stop is right in front of the plaza it runs 24 hours and only costs 2 dollars each way ( WAYYYYYYY CHEAPER THEN A CAB ) and its about a 25 min or so bus ride , very safe and clean too , its the last stop you just ask were to get off .

6. Parking: Parking is $15 for valet or $10 for self-parking, which is conveniently located right across the street next to a Shell gas station (which has overpriced gas and you can get much cheaper elsewhere).

7. There are plenty of stores and restaurants right across the street of the hotel that are cheaper and where you can get anything you might need for your stay.

10. On Hallandale Boulevard (10 minute drive) is a wonderful breakfast place called Nick's restaurant which is much better and much cheaper.
