1. There are far better hotels within a couple of blocks from here - newer or more newly renovated.

2. There are some pitfalls to it being an older building - hall noise is audible and elevators not as plentiful as some newer buildings, but the space, comfort, location and charm of the Bellevue far outweigh them.
