1. The beautiful old architecture is still visible but the modern updates were done with very skilled hands to create comfortable and beautiful rooms with real 'personality'.

2. There are some pitfalls to it being an older building - hall noise is audible and elevators not as plentiful as some newer buildings, but the space, comfort, location and charm of the Bellevue far outweigh them.
