1. The price was affordable for a terrific place in a neighborhood that was comfortable and very close to public transit -- buses and the cool new light rail.

8. To it's credit the hotel was busy (maybe because the NBA All-Star game was in town which is why I couldn't find a room downtown), seemed to have a nice local trade, and the staff was terrific.
