3. One great reason to stay here is that it is right near the 'upper downtown' part of Phoenix - not the stadium downtown, but the other high-rise part of central Phoenix - and you are close to a number of great restaurants and watering holes when you're at the Clarendon.

"Fun Place " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/13/2011 Vote
5. The Clarendon would like you to think that it is built around a pool scene, and indeed you can see a pool or two there in the courtyard, with colorful umbrellas and a reasonable attempt to look like a boutique hotel in Palm Springs.
"A flawed but oddly charming boutique hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/23/2011 Vote

10. There were several upgrades included in the very reasonable $15 hotel fee: covered parking, free water, soda, and variety of snacks from 10pm to 7:30 am, (otherwise only $1), complimentary bottled water offered by the front desk consistently, wi-fi.
"Classic, Classy & Comfortable boutique hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/10/2011 Vote
