4. If you come for the new years eve party its great to be able to stay in the same hotel but it is a nightmare to get out the next day so dont plan to leave until that evening or the following day.

6. Incidentally, Aloft (in new York, which is never cheap) was cheaper, incredibly cool, had killer Internet speed for free, cool Scandinavia design with dance music in the elevators, allowed pets for free, and even gave him a welcome bag of treats.

7. This is a classic mid-century modern building that has been completely renovated inside - everything from the lobby to the hallways to the room seemed new and well-cleaned.
