1. We had a view of the city and the outdoor area which includes an outdoor pool and a HUGE outdoor patio with lots of tables and comfortable seating with two outdoor fire pits and a waterfall, where even when it was cool out, we sat and enjoyed the heat from the firepit and the sound of the waterfall, under a beautiful sky with a full moon and the view of the Washington Monument.

6. Also of note is that this Hilton does not have the new integrated lighting, electrical, heating/cooling controls for guestrooms that some Hiltons have rolled out relatively recently but that's certainly not a problem or a negative in my opinion.

9. Every time I have stayed here the thermostat goes up and then goes down giving you sweats and for a second you're cool throughout the night it tends to be very uncomfortable.

10. The HVAC system is very nice, with more than enough heating and cooling, and best of all it ran quietly.
