6. If you want to visit the White House and environs and don't want to walk that far, your better bet is to take the Metro from the Dupont Circle station to one of the Farragut Square stations or the one on McPherson Square, which cuts out about two-thirds of that hike for a nominal fee.

10. The location could not be any better, there are dozens of restaurants within easy walking distance and the metro at Dupont circle is only 5 minutes walk with the metro centre another 5mins by train.
