3. The area around the hotel was all new, but a short distance away, it looked pretty rough, so I would not suggest walking too far from the hotel area.

5. I stayed at this hotel for the first time with my sister for an annual Race for Hope DC brain tumor walk and was pleasantly surprised by the brand new decor and amenities.

8. Brand new hotel close to a few quick places to eat and a new grocery store (Harris Teeter) which was a great place to pick up a salad to-go and drinks.

9. We stayed at one of the newly renovated rooms (the smell of the renovation is about the only thing I can criticise, except for the air conditioning, which was blowing like crazy, but then again, I'm European so I'm not really used to an airco) for 4 nights.
