I love my room even the mini bar and the private bar that I have though I could not use them due to it being overpriced for meThe Cons:As expected being a Hard Rock hotel in the middle of Gaslamp the #1 issue I had was the noise from other hard partying groups and the drunken patrons at the lobby area.

5. However, there is also a kiosk next to your in-room liquor store: a huge variety of overpriced snacks, condoms, assorted sex 'accessories' for the want of a better description, candles etc await you on open display in case you have forgotten or casually feel like grabbing one.

8. The hotel tries so hard to be trendy it fails - the downstairs bar is just full of suits straight from the conference centre across the road, the restaurants are overpriced (and except Nobu have no reason to be), the spa is (yet again) very expensive.
