3. if you came for the Ocean, stay at the Beach Cottages right on the boardwalk, you can see the ocean from your room, you can hear the waves & smell the ocean, it's got great rates & very clean & kid friendly.

7. So we arrived during less-than-average weather conditions, but still that didn't excuse the instant feeling of 'do we really have to sleep here?' Ok, so the 3 rooms we saw all seemed to have contained the original (badly) repainted furniture from the 1960's which could have been great in a shabby chic kind of way, had it not been for the smell, stains, and even holes in the soft furnishings.

9. King bed was very nice, fresh smelling linens (not the typical industrial wash smell) soft sheets & extra pillows & blanket for getting super cozy.
