2. There is a public beach right on the other side, but lots of vegetation make it difficult to walk through on the beach side.

We stayed in Bahia last year loved the tranquility, room was great overlooking the Bay found public transport cheap and easy to get around all part of the fun of the holiday, staff were very friendly, room was on 4th floor nice and quiet, lovely grounds, enjoyed so much going back 30th Aug 2010 for 2 weeks although a bit dated inside all the rest made up for it we are not difficult to please as long as it is clean and comfortable have requested same room hope we get it.

4. The only thing we did not like about our stay - the local restaurants are very difficult to go to if you are driving because hte parking is lousy.

5. Also parking is can be difficult and the roads around the property are very narrow and appear to be one way roads but are not.

6. The bathroom is REALLY small, especially around the toilet, which made it a little difficult for me since I'm pregnant; so something to think about when booking.

7. There are a ton of restaurants to try in the immediate area and around San Diego but the quality made it difficult to really venture out.

In addition, finding close-by restaurant alternatives was a bit difficult (parking at such off-site restuarants can be challenging because finding parking space in that area is at a premium), so, the on-site restuarant availability was convenient and had better tasting food than a couple of more local, off-site restuarants that we tried.

9. Sleeping was difficult on the makeshift cushions on the sofabed and also the sheet that they use for the mattress doesn`t fit so it kept coming off the mattress the entire night and bunching up.
