1. However, the hotel is in need of some updates as some things didn't work, or only half worked - only on elevator worked, the change machine was broken, only one key worked, some lights in our room wouldn't turn off, and on of our sink taps were put on backwards.

5. No matter, they are covered with ugly broken wooden lattices - they must have been new at some point - perhaps back in the early 1990s - now they are broken and junky and should be scrapped.
