1. For $180/night I would have thought that we could have avoided the big black hair ball and black mildew in the shower.

2. There are some homeless people on the street so when we walked back to the hotel, we need to pick the streets where there are restaurants/shops and avoid the dark corners.

3. There was a day where we try to do all the things we needed and get back to hotel late so we can avoid driving into and out of the carpark too many times as you can get very dizzy.

4. As a Starwood Platinum member I have generally avoided the Sheraton chain in the past because of some bad experiences, but decided to give the Sheraton Suites in San Diego a chance.

5. On Friday night I found open metered parking on the side of the hotel but did not make it to the car early enough the next morning to avoid a ticket.

7. The front desk staff were very helpful, and there were plenty of parking options so that I could avoid their >$20 parking fees at the hotel.

8. Once we found the cross over floor to avoid the steep walk up to the main entrance, exiting and entering the hotel became a lot easier.
