1. Don't get me wrong, the Gas Lamp Marriott is extremely nice in terms of amenities (and they have a free breakfast for platinum) but there NO contest between the suites.

5. Some sort of apology or recognition that they had screwed up by getting the check out date wrong and failing to send the confirmation email would have been appreciate.

Check in not good as reservation was wrong, had $60 credit per day but main restaurant closed and can't use at Roys or other Marriott's, hotel shows waterslide at pool, however it was shut down and looks like they don't use, rooms outdated (going under refurbishment) which is ok if good service or rooms clean (mold in bathroom, couple fixtures falling apart), Irish Restaurant service and food poor.

7. Maybe my expectations were wrong as very disappointment with selecting this Marriott as the hotel for my family vacation.

8. Even when we checked and they got the room wrong when we stepped inside, the guy carrying our bags called the front desk, got us the correct room on a better floor and even ran back up to give us the new room cards.
