6. its a Marriot so there is a standard and in most cases it is met so I really debated even adding a review on this property but I thought i should add as there a few things to know about this hotel that may not be evident without staying hereon the plus side 1) it is really hard to beat the location - close to gaslamp district/downtown - you can walk to many attractions, restaurants etc2) staff is very good - up to Marriott standard and all indications this is a well run hotelon the not so good side-avoid the city view rooms - there is trolley/light rail that runs within block of hotel - the convenience to public transpot is nice - the downside is it is very load as every time the trollye comes by (every 30 to 60 mins) there is a loud alarm that is very audible even from the high floors (im on 14)-wireless internet is practically dial up speed , for a hotel of this size/quality it is below par and if you are traveling on business it is annoying and a bit unexpected.
