1. It was close to the event but the place looks worn.

2. The recommendation must have come from a business partnership because I found the following problems:- A/C was stuck on at 70 degrees until maintence fixed it- Mattress was worn and obviosly not turned because I was stuck into what felt like a sink hole.

7. The furniture was scuffed and worn, the chairs on the balcony looked disgusting, the towels were rough, one of the lamps had a broken bulb, which was fixed promptly when we called the desk.

9. Yes, the scenery is awesome anywhere in this area, but this hotel doesn't measure up to Marriott's own standards-filthy pool, poor service, poor room amenities (worn bed/linens, outdated furnishings, etc), sans the bar, this hotel is NOT worth it.
