4. However, when we arrived in the room there was a hint of stale smoke in the room and the room window was open (perhaps to air it out) which wasn't such a big deal except that my wife is a bit allergic to cigarette smoke.

9. It is in a very easy location, only 10 minutes to San Diego, and since you have to drive everywhere anyway, this was no big deal to us.
