1. Yes, the grounds were pretty, yes the beach was nearby, yes the shopping and fun 1/2 mile away in Mission Beach was fun but oh, the 'resort' room itself was poor.

4. The Dana at Mission Bay is adjacent to Sea World and a 15 minute shuttle ride to the cruise terminal, but most hotels near the ports either jack up the price of a park and cruise or start charging your parking after 7 days, and they mostly have poor reviews and shoddy rooms for the price.
