1. Great location near the convention center, very nice Loft rooms, but check the hard Rock hotel website before you book.

What sets this hotel apart from the rest in the vicinity (Marriott, another Hilton, hard Rock, Hyatt) is the size (quite a bit smaller, with a cozy modern lobby and bar, cute outdoor pool area with soft cushioned sun beds) and a great personable service that would not be possible if you had thousands of guests milling around a train station sized lobby.

5. Ok, so this is hard, as the location of this hotel is perfect for you if you want to go to a ball game or the Convention Center or like me, attend a charity event at a brewery just up the street.
