6. apparently the hotel is built into the side of a hill, so we were below groundlevel, which prevented much sunlight from getting into our room- Drains in our room were clogged throughout our stay- both the bathroom sink and the shower drain- Due to 'pet friendly' nature of hotel, family members had allergy issuesOverall, the Residence Inn was not a bad place to stay and it served it's purpose.

7. I like to look at the bright side even in a bad situation, but I have to say the AC unit drove us crazy.

9. Overall, this isn't a bad choice if you 1) need space for family, 2) have a car, and 3) can sleep through anything.

10. This isn't overall too bad price-wise as compared to staying in the Gaslamp Quarter, but if you were to stay a few miles down the 8, up the 5 or up the 163 parking would be free.
