2. I just find it hard to believe that properties have smoking rooms to begin with and on the top floor, which is desirable to many travelers.

3. It is very close to the I-5 which makes it convenient for San Diego's big time attractions but not so good if after a hard days sightseeing you just want to pop out to a local haunt for a meal or just to relax as this involved a major drive.

4. For the price and location, which is right about at the halfway point between Legoland, Sea World and the Zoo, you would be hard pressed to find a better spot.

5. This is pretty much your average Homewood Suites experience with a few exceptions worth mentioning:First of all the sound-proofing is minimal, so getting some sleep was hard to do.
