1. Despite the lack of sunshine during our trip, we found this place to be a true getaway to really relax.

2. We also ate at Francesca's another night, and the steak was very good, though the menu lacks 'normal' choices if you don't eat seafood and wild game (I have a shellfish allergy and am not partial to game, so the only entree I could eat was a steak).

3. Whether you stay there for business or pleasure, one would never need to leave the resort for lack of something to do.

4. The television was a more traditional set-up, lacking the digital menu 'on-demand' like system found at other Westin's, however, I spent very little time watching television, as there was many better options to do while staying at the La Cantera.

5. The lack of wi-fi in the rooms and the lack of pay-per-view in this day and age make me think that either they aren't making enough money here to warrant upgrading things or they just don't care.
