1. The only reason I did not give this hotel a 5 was because the bed was uncomfortably hard.

2. There are literally acres of adjoining rooftop space, yet the Grand's pool deck is a small area (for a hotel with this many rooms) and deck chairs are hard to find on any nice day.

4. While the SA river is nice at ground level the view of it from 6 or 16 floors up is hardly a plus.

8. The service at the Grand Hyatt was very friendly, the room was clean but furnature needs updating, have Direct TV but hardly no big selection of channels but I was working anyway.

9. Aside from the nice historic sites (the Alamo and the Riverwalk are just a few minutes from the hotel) and some good Tex-Mex restaurants, we both feel it's hard to give a really good review of this place.

10. I agree with a previous reviewer about the soap making you feel greasy, but I wonder if that is just not due to hard water - my daughter's baby soap even felt greasy.
