1. One quirk in the layout was that you had to walk past the laundry room/cleaning HQ between the front desk and guest rooms, not a bad thing, but usually they tend to hide this loud, humid area from guests.

3. A Few Mild Negatives: Since I had to work in my hotel room for a few hours (last minute touch ups on the presentation), the renovations during the day were a bit loud--but we knew about the renovations in advance.

5. Although I have a huge tolerance for variety of room conditions, my room was not updated, A/C unit loud, and overall room standards very very low when compared to the usual Hampton image.

6. Yes, the walls are thin and you do hear doors and people when they are loud, but I have found that to be true of all hotels in this price range.

Based on the previous reviews the same issues continue to plague this property:- Dingy, shabby room decor with mold in the bathtub grout- A/C was beyond loud and continually turned itself off for about 10 seconds and then came roaring back on, no matter how low you set it- The pool had leaves and trash floating in it so I actually took the skimmer net from the pool house and swept it out myself before my kids got into it.

I`ll start with the positives:+ Check-in was super fast and the clerk was very professional & nice+ There was plenty of parking, even during the busy Memorial day weekend+ The bed, as in all Hampton Inns, was amazing and gave a great night`s sleepUnfortunately, there were more negatives than I`ve come to expect from Hampton Inns:- Room was shabby, with holes in carpet and stains on the old vanity in bathroom-A/C was extremely loud and clunky when the compressor switched on-Poor lighting in the bathroom-Breakfast was not that well-run - popular items kept running out and they had a hard time keeping up (even with the breakfast room 1/2 full)For $160 paid per night, I expect more.
