1. There was the occasional airplane, which could be loud, but only for a few seconds at most.

4. Jets do fly over occasionally and they're loud so they do interrupt conversation.

5. Everything was wonderful, other than the ac unit was loud, and the distinct conversation, even at low tones, that we heard from adjoining room (including female visitors at 0300 to 0500 am on Saturday night).
