We arrived late, and almost immediately went to bed, when we realized there was a horrible buzzing
noise
coming through the wall, which would go off intermittently and then disappear.

There was a church convention going on so there were tons of people and children, and to our surprise there was barely any chaos or
noise
coming through our room.

noise
level there was even worse, so we went back to the 3rd floor.
"Awful! "
