1. The room was finally cleaned, and after some discussion a credit courtesy was extended, but the inconvenience was suffered.

After returning home I found an email from the chief manager who, although he apologized for the inconvenience, also did not really hear the complaint and said no one had ever complained and all mattresses were the same as the other Peabody Hotel in Memphis (which I had stayed at two years before and it was delightful).
