The only con to this hotel that was all the drawers smelled like they had been cleaned with a dirty sponge (they had that nasty
mold
y smell) and every time housekeeping cleaned, the room stunk of ammonia and we had to leave the window open.

My thought is that perhaps the springs and rods have a higher chance of condensing room humidity vapor, in which case the black marks may be
mold
or rust stains.

I went back to the room to check it out and snapped some photos of the sofabed and have no idea whether the spots on the underside of the mattress are
