4. The only con to this hotel that was all the drawers smelled like they had been cleaned with a dirty sponge (they had that nasty moldy smell) and every time housekeeping cleaned, the room stunk of ammonia and we had to leave the window open.

5. My thought is that perhaps the springs and rods have a higher chance of condensing room humidity vapor, in which case the black marks may be mold or rust stains.

6. I went back to the room to check it out and snapped some photos of the sofabed and have no idea whether the spots on the underside of the mattress are mold spots or not.
