1. Staff at front desk were friendly and doing a great job in difficult circumstances, but generally it was a losing battle.

2. The bathrooms are TINY - I'm not a large person, but at six months pregnant I find it difficult to maneuver in there (if the counter wasn't as low as it is I'd be unable to turn around with the door open).

3. I agree with the other reviewers (tiny bathroom, shabby interior) but would like to add that the Wi-Fi connection all over the hotel (public spaces as well as rooms) was extremely spotty and laggy, making work difficult, and there was no in-room safe for laptops and other devices.

5. I would give the hotel another try when in New Orleans as I imagine all hotels have difficultly with requests when it is such a busy time and I assume that (as with all Doubletrees) the value is good when paying cash (not points, it clearly is good value with points.
