1. Rooms are set around a central courtyard and the doors open direct to the seating area or the pool, so if people are having an early breakfast and/or a cigar, you will hear them chatting and smell the cigar smoke, pool area room is quieter.

3. The first room that I was assigned, in Building 5, absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke (that kind of smell that has been building up for decades and can't be removed unless you change the wallpaper and carpets), despite the fact that all rooms are supposedly smoke-free.
