7. Our main disappointment was not the hotel but the fact that,outside of the Jazz Fest dates,there is very little live jazz to be found - apart from the excellent Palm Court Restaurant/Nightclub on Decatur.

8. The bad: inattentive service (we had no maid service the first day, called the front desk to report this and got a 'so, what do you want me to do about it? response), dated, cheaply done bathroom, some beat up antiques in the room.
