2. Although it can get crowded on that part of Bourbon, it is also accessible from the side streets, so the crowds are avoidable.

7. At the same time when getting out you can quickly move to avoid Bourbon and head into other parts of town since it's a couple of blocks to the Canal streetcars, Jackson Square, etc.
