3. Having ended our cruise in Fort Lauderdale, we picked up our rental car and drove to Miami; upon arrival at the valet I was a little disappointed to be asked 'Who are you here to see sir?' OK, Alamo did do us a disservice and provided us with a Kia 4x4, but still it's a little rude to assume you're not staying at the hotel just because you're driving a KIA.

5. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, there were only 2 other tables booked that night, the food was average and the staff friendly, however the staff at the adjacent bar should be fired for being so rude, we were ignored even though we walked up and sat at the bar counter.

7. Also, we visited the Sports Club LA spa that is connected to the hotel and found the staff there to be rude and unhelpful (which was surprising because the staff in the gym side of Sports Club LA were great).
