Regular check in is at 3:00 - we came to the hotel around 1:30 and our room was not ready until 2:45 - not a
problem
, though; we spent time in the restaurant (eighty6) and had a great lunch while we waited.

The only
problem
was, we left a 'do not disturb' sign on our door and when went back to our room, the housekeeping person walked out of our room.

I stayed at the Madison Hotel over New Years Eve - The staff did their best but there were some
problem
s - we moved to another room after we arrived so that we were not looking at the air conditioning units on top of the bulding next door.

Our biggest
problem
was that the cleaners left our hotel room door wide open one night and then seemed to park a laundry trolley outside our room door after we complained.

This is the only hotel I've ever stayed in where my room did not get cleaned-- I didn't know things like this happed but from reading other reviews on the Madison, it appears to be a chronic
problem
that they have.
