1. Between the extremely bright lights, the uncomfortable bed, and the noise from the icemaker and the roof party, we had zero sleep.

2. But the most unfortunate part of our stay was the icemaker that made loud noises all night long, waking us up every 30 minutes or so, until we figured out how to disable it around 4am.

3. Three reasons this is bad - higher floor means more noise from the nighttime parties on the roof directly above, and more bright lights pouring in from the outside lights on the building, and a round bed isn't actually very comfortable, plus there was nowhere else to sit but the bed.

5. The location is a convenient walk for all the major attractions and we had no problems with any noise from outside (although the Air-con would have drowned out a fly past).

9. Though the hotel is downtown and can't control construction noises and other tall buildings messing with the view from guest room windows, we enjoyed our stay very much.
