1. The hotel is in a good location for buzzing around town, the Staples Centre must be seen to be believed, but it's in a poor location for the 'glitz and glamour' of Hollywood.

PROS: well-stocked mini-bar, very soft beds (if you like that), convenient Downtown location, fast valet serviceCONS: they missed our wake-up call (good thing we didn't miss our plane), the free wi-fi did not work, not enough lighting if you wanted to do work at the desk, poor sound isolation (we could hear the conversationsand partying in adjoining rooms and in the hallways), terrible smelling slimy soap/lotion/shampoo/conditioner, strange smelling hallways.

8. I had planned on giving the hotel a poor score due their customer service in planning my party, ie: they would not let me order catering from their menu because they said I didn't call far enough in advance but I had been leaving messages for two weeks without a return call.
