The carpet was filthy and full of dark stains, the bed covers were old and worn, the bathroom door was out of alignment with the frame and couldn't close all the way, the shower was full of black mold (the fan wasn't working), the windows looked as if they hadn't been cleaned from the inside in weeks, the air vent was the dustiest I've ever seen.
