1. The property is a bit dated but I don't stay at hotels to cook my own food (heck, I'm on holiday.

2. Orchid Suites is an old apartment building so don't expect brand new 5 star rooms, they are a bit dated.

It is a small hotel & apparently rather popular so my advice is book well in advance to get your room :) If you book directly through the hotel's own website you will get the best rate, we booked a room with 2 double beds and a kitchenette (fridge & mini stove with 2 burners, a cabinet of pans & dishes & silverware but no microwave)It is nothing lavish andt the furnishings and rooms look a bit dated but the Hollywood Orchid Suites has lots going for it - #1 is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.

7. Just to point out: This is an older property and the interior is a bit dated compared to many other hotels but I would imagine this is part of what keeps the rates low and we thought it gave the place character, if you want a cookie cutter Holiday Inn type of place then look elsewhere.

8. Yes, it`s a bit dated, and maybe a bit noisy but it`s in the centre of Hollywood, it`s clean, spacious, with a pool, secure parking and free wifi.

9. As stated in other reviews the rooms are a bit dated but all in all for a value for money stay in the heart of Hollywood you can`t go past a stay at the Hollywood Orchid Suites.
